CO2 Storage Data Consortium: Launch event at GHGT-13

The CO2 Storage Data Consortium (CSDC) is a new international network aimed at promoting data sharing from pioneering CO2 storage projects in order to accelerate innovation and deployment of CCS.

CSDC aims to make available datasets on site geology as well as geophysical monitoring data, well data, reservoir data and models. Access to properly curated and well-understood data can strengthen the development of knowledge and technology required for widespread implementation of CO2 storage. A platform for sharing data will be developed. The CSDC consortium will manage the datasets, the terms of use and facilitate dissemination.

The aim of the meeting is to explain the objectives and to gain feedback from potential participants.

It takes place Wednesday 16th November 2016, 18.00-20.00 at the venue of the GHGT-13 conference at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland.
